Although the hotel location at first glance may seem unusual, I found it to be a really interesting neighborhood. This hotel is located on the cusp of Little Italy and Chinatown. The streets are busy until the late evening hours, so I always felt safe. Three major subway lines are within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel staff is polite and friendly. The rooms are simple, but clean and come with free internet service (you only need a laptop). The mattresses are extremely comfortable, no exaggeration! Breakfast is unremarkable, but at least you can get a cup of tea or some juice before you head out to eat something more appealing. Loads of restaurants and interesting shops near the hotel. Highly recommended. You cannot beat the value you get for the price.
